Privacy Policy for Race Week

Last updated: August 4, 2026

Race Week ("the app", "we", "us") is an independent Formula 1 trivia game made by Alina Lodina ("the developer"). This policy explains what data the app handles and how. We keep it short because the app is built to collect as little as possible.

Race Week has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login. You can play without giving us your name, email, or any personal profile.

Data stored on your device only

Your quiz progress, statistics, driver-license level, energy, unlocked awards and settings (language, sound, notifications) are stored locally on your device. This data stays on your phone, is not sent to us, and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Quiz content

The app downloads quiz questions from our content server. Like any internet request, this involves your device's IP address and standard technical request data being processed by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to deliver the content and prevent abuse. We do not use this to identify or profile you.

Push notifications

If you enable notifications, we store an anonymous push token so we can tell you when a new quiz is added. The token is not linked to your identity, and you can turn notifications off at any time in the app or your device settings.

Children

Race Week is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Your rights

Because most data lives only on your device, you are in control: uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes it. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have rights under the GDPR, including access, correction and erasure. To exercise them, contact us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves (for example when a new feature is added). We will change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
